Hi Guys! I'm glad you're here to Czech out my Prague Christmas post. In this post, I am going to share with you my favorite hotels, restaurants, and places to go! Prague during the Holiday is pure magic, that is the only way I can explain it! This was my 3rd time visiting at this time of year and it never gets old. My partner T is from Slovakia and has spent a lot of time in Prague. It is so special to be able to share this city with someone I love!  He obviously speaks the language and it is just a special experience to be with your partner in their home country. For anyone who doesn’t know much about Prague, here is some basic information about this beautiful city which dates back to the 13th century. I would recommend doing day tours and learning the amazing history! https://www.prague.com/v/history/

Hotels

U Prince https://www.hoteluprince.com/en/ This hotel does not have the best online rating which surprised me. The location is amazing and in the center of the old town square. It has a gorgeous rooftop bar and an amazing underground bar unlike one I have ever seen.

Hotel Paris Prague https://www.hotel-paris.cz/en/ We stayed here last year and it was amazing. The architecture, staff, and restaurant were all amazing. This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the center of town. They have some amazing rooms with views of the whole city.

Carlo IV https://autograph-hotels.marriott.com/hotel/carlo-iv/ This is the hotel that we stayed at this holiday season. The architecture is beautiful and the Duck Liver Parfait was one of the best dishes I ever had. That being said, the room accommodations and staff made our stay quite unenjoyable. Personally I would not recommend it, but that was just my experience!

Restaurants

The Blue Ducking Restaurant (UModreKachnicky) http://www.umodrekachnicky.cz/en/ every year we go here and sit at the same table. On Christmas eve they only serve a 7 courses menu, which I can never eat all of. It is so delicious but very filling (the Cuisine in Prague is not for the faint of heart) If you want a traditional Czech meal make sure to stop by.

Mincovna http://www.restauracemincovna.cz/ Love this place for lunch and dinner. I always get the pretzel because well it’s amazing. The restaurant is housed in a refurbished building where coins were minted until the nineteenth century.

Svejk restaurant https://www.svejk-restaurant.cz/en/ Traditional Czech food with a historical story. This is a bit of a touristy place but T still loves it and says it a great place for an array of local dishes. The story of the Svejk is a fictional story about a good (dumb) soldier Svejk who fights in the first world war.

Kolkovna https://www.kolkovna.cz/en Again there is not a ton of variety when in the inner city. But this is another ( slightly touristy) traditional Czech restaurant. I always get the Beckerovka (herbal liquor) and chicken soup. Delicious.

Cutto Crudo fourseasons.com/prague is great for when you are looking for a different cuisine. As I am sure you can image, the Four Seasons does not disappoint!

Siddartharta Café/ Buddha Bar siddhartacafeprague.cz Another great option if you are looking for a less heavy meal. Beautiful restaurant with Euro Asian dishes. We personally love Buddha Bar from our Dubai days but even in a different country, this place is a blast.
